About the Blog.

The technological age is upon us! You kids with your damn internet!

What can I expect from this blog?

One day, we will have a bomb-ass website that everyone will be in awe of (as described below). Until that day, this will have to do:

News –  On-campus/near-campus readings,  Problem Child associated events, expected release dates, and any other news that seems relevant.
Interviews – past & current editors, older members, and anyone else we can get a hold of.
Recommendations – poetry, novels, non-fiction, short stories, museum exhibits, artists, anything that could inspire you.
Weekly Attendance Answers - A delightful list of responses to the equally delightful question of the week.
Writing & Discussion - We might ask questions or take polls, quote wonderful advice, or give prompts. Anything that fosters discussion about writing and the writing process.

How did this whole blog thing start?

We felt we needed an internet presence. Former editor Chad Ostrowski spearheaded a campaign to make Problem Child way tech-savvy – online submissions, automated packets, ratings, submission stats, deep zooms of previous issues, and all sorts of awesomeness.  He enlisted the help of Sir Nicholas Cherry and Swati Prasad. Unfortunately, due to school, graduations, finals, jobs, the real world, and the time consuming nature of the project, problemchildmag.com is currently stalled a bit.

Kyle Carozza then stepped up to plate with some big ideas for a website as well. Interviews! Articles! Discussions! It all sounds incredibly fantastic, no? But alas, English majors are not awesome/too interested with these techy things. (Please excuse my gross generalization.) In the meantime, he made us a facebook page .

Neat!

Thanks!
